Keith at the House Tour

Today was the annual Art Gallery House Tour and this year, I was invited to be one of the featured artists. In spite of the continual rain and cold (this is September?), it really was a fun event and, of course, great to have the company of my husband - also my subject! The house was gorgeous of course and the volunteers and visitors friendly and appreciate. Luckily for me (and Keith), there was a large covered area in front which protected us from the elements. The painting is bit of a statement about where we would like to be right now - the Hawaiin shirt and blue sky certainly evocative! The tour lasted from 11:00 to 5:00  and was attended by over 900 people - a long day, but well worth it.
