I spent a couple of hours on one of our now typical sunny summer days at Victorian Epicure - a company that produces spice mixes - and grapes - located at the end of Downey Road. The visual delights were accompanied by the wonderful smells emanating from the plant, I find it very interesting to see these vines so far from the landscapes one usually associates with them - established as they are in front of the huge spruces and firs of the BC coast.
